LAHORE, Oct 27: The Punjab government has issued instructions to the authorities concerned to discourage the trend of serving tea, soft drinks and other refreshments during official meetings.

According to a handout, a circular was issued on Monday to all administrative secretaries, heads of affiliated departments, semi-government institutions and DCOs in this regard. It said the government had directed that, if necessary, a separate table be placed in a corner of the meeting room for tea or other refreshments.
