LAHORE, Oct 25: A young police constable died at a hospital shortly after he suffered bullet injuries on duty at the Central Police Office early on Saturday.

Old Anarkali Circle DSP Multan Khan said Rashid of Sialkot city was on duty at the IG Office at around 3am when the incident occurred.

“Mahmood was talking to somebody on his cell phone when his hand accidentally touched the trigger of the sub-machinegun which went off and he suffered three shots in his chest.” Mahmood was taken to Mayo Hospital where he died. — Staff Reporter
