KARACHI, Oct 23: Faculties won the Karachi University Inter-collegiate boys’ basketball championship outplaying Shipowners College 62-13 in the one-sided final played at the Karachi University gymnasium on Thursday.

The winners who dictated terms right from the word go led 32-6 at half time.

Hammad (14) and Mohammad Zain (10) were main scorers for winners while Osama and Salman Khan scored 6 and 4 for losers.

Meanwhile, Faculties also won the KU Inter-collegiate boys’ tennis tournament inflicting 3-0 defeat on Shipowners College in the final at the KU courts.

Faculties bt Shipowners College 3-0.

Owais Zafar bt Roshan Khan 6-1, 6-0, 6-0; Owais Zafar and Mohammad Akbar bt Khushal Khan and Kamran Ahmed 6-2, 6-2, 6-1; Syed Anas Ali bt Behroz Ahmed 6-1, 6-2, 6-1.
