KHANEWAL, Oct 22: The district police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a proclaimed offender carrying a head money of Rs1.5 million.

Khanewal DPO Muhammad Kamran Khan said that on a tip-off that PO Nazir Ahmad was present at the house of Zafar Ahmad alias Japu, the Kabirwala Saddar police raided there, but he managed to escape.

He said the police arrested accused Zafar on whose disclosure the PO was later arrested from his hideout in Marisahu village.
