LAHORE, Oct 21: Corruption is no longer a national matter but a transnational phenomenon affecting all countries, making international cooperation essential to prevent and combat it.

This was said by Punjab NAB Director (investigation) Brig Farooq Hameed (retired) at the third anti-corruption expertise workshop in Singapore last week. Mr Hameed spoke on ‘Effective partnership and networking for anti-corruption agencies’ at the workshop organised by Singaporean foreign affairs ministry and its corrupt practices investigation bureau.

Mr Hameed highlighted NAB’s domestic anti-corruption network institutionalised over the years to help the government check corruption.
