Pakistan win kabbadi tie

BALI (Indonesia), Oct 19: Pakistan kabaddi team launched their campaign in the first Asian Beach Games by crushing Malaysia 84-17 at the Kabaddi Beach Centre here on Sunday.

Each team consisted of four players. Pakistan excelled in all departments of the game to post a firm win before leading 48-6 at half time.

Pakistan manager Mohammad Sarwar said, “It was a one-sided match but we took it seriously to take a good start in the tournament. We will be playing Thailand and Sri Lanka on Monday.”—Agencies
