KARACHI, Oct 18: Tension on Saturday evening gripped Orangi No 5 and its adjoining parts as the residents torched four vehicles and forced the shopkeepers to pull down their shutters in protest against the killing of a man who was fatally wounded during a bungled robbery two days ago.

Witnesses said that the dacoits had killed a man and wounded his two brothers, one of them fatally, and fled away.

They said that the victims’ relatives and residents took to the streets and held a violent demonstration.—Staff Reporter
