Varsity closed after clashes

QUETTA, Oct 16: The Balochistan University and the Bolan Medical College have been closed following clashes between two student organisations.

At least 15 students were injured in an exchange of fire after a dispute over the admission test conducted by the National Testing Service.

After the clash, the Balochistan University Vice-Chancellor Dr Msoom Yasinzai decided to close the university for three days.

The Bolan Medical College took a similar decision.

The authorities also got the university’s boys hostel vacated.
