HYDERABAD, Oct 11: The director of admissions of the University of Sindh has notified the new date for conducting entrance tests for admissions to LL.B. part-I under the Department of Law.
He said that the tests would now be conducted on Oct, 21 at the Sindh University Model School Hyderabad.
The directorate of admissions has already dispatched admit cards to the aspiring candidates on their addresses mentioned in their admission forms. However, those candidates who have not received admit cards can contact the varsity on 022-2771188.
The director has also notified that offices of the directorate of admissions will remain open on Oct 12 to receive admission forms from the candidates.
The candidates can deposit their admission forms at the varsity from 9am to 5pm. The director said that the University of Sindh had already extended the date up to Oct,14 for submission of admission forms for admissions to all disciplines under bachelors as well as masters degree programmes for the academic session 2009.
SECTION-144: District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) has banned entry of unconcerned persons within 200 yards of examination centers where annual examination of the Sindh University are scheduled to be held for BA (pass) part-I and MA (previous) from Oct 14.
According to a notification issued on Saturday, the nazim said that with effect from Oct 14 till the end of the examinations, no one would be allowed in or around the centers.
He declared the centers as protected areas and directed the concerned SHOs to tighten security measures in and around the centers.
