QUETTA, Oct 11: Balochistan Minister for Health Ainullah Shams has said that a majority of polio-affected children belong to nomadic families who come every year during summer to bordering areas of the province.

Talking to reporters after launching the three-day anti-polio drive here on Saturday, he said the provincial health department could not make arrangements to administer complete anti-polio vaccine to children of nomadic families as they frequently change their locations.

He called upon the people of all walks of life to play their role in eliminating polio in the province.—APP
