QUETTA, Oct 10: Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Mohammad Aslam Bhootani, on Friday took oath as acting governor of the province.

The senior judge of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Ahmed Khan Lashari, administered the oath at a ceremony in Darbar Hall of the Governor House.

Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi is on a visit to the United Arab Emirates.—Staff Correspondent
