NAWABSHAH, Oct 8: A 60-feet breach occurred in Rein distributary canal near Qazi Ahmed on Wednesday.
The breach inundated hundreds of acres of agricultural land damaging crops of cotton, sugarcane, paddy and vegetables.
No irrigation officials reached on the spot timely and the villagers plugged the breach.—Correspondent
