DADU, Oct 6: Supporters of Dadu Ittehad Panel (Jatoi group) held a demonstration in Mehar on Monday in protest against Pakistan People’s Party MPA Fayaz Butt and his supporters for allegedly occupying a petrol pump and other property.

Sikandar Butt alleged that armed men of MPA Fayaz Butt looted Rs500,000 cash and occupied his petrol pump but the police were not helping him.

He said that people of MPA Fayaz Butt were occupying properties belonging to the Dadu Ittehad panel who were supporters of former minister Liaquat Jatoi. The Mehar police have registered an FIR against 150 people including Sikandar Butt, and Zulfiqar Jhatiyal, for creating law and order situation and holding protest. However, no arrests have been reported.
