MIRPURKHAS, Oct 4: At least eight persons were injured in an armed clash between the Magsi and Pathan community in Gulshan Colony, Satellite Town.

The clash was reportedly triggered when the elders of the two communities got involved in a petty dispute of their children.

The two sides sparingly used sticks and exchanged fire, which left eight persons from both sides injured.

The injured were identified as Mohammad Ashraf, Mohammad Kamran, Mohammad Ramzan, Javed, Shahbaz, Malik Akram, Mehboob Pathan, and Feroze Pathan. They have been admitted to the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas.

The Satellite Town police said that a notable of the area had settled the matter and no one had contacted the police to register any case.
