NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 24: Bidi workers took out a rally and staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Wednesday, demanding withdrawal of customs duty on import of bidi leaf.

A large number of workers led by the President of their associations Ghulam Sarwar Panhwar, Niaz Hussain Vistro and Mushtaq Memon took out rally and staged demonstration outside the press club. They complained of living in miserable economic condition due to non-supply of bidi leaf which had rendered them jobless.

They demanded of the government to withdraw the customs duty on import of bidi leaf.
