FAISALABAD, Sept 20: A cyclist and his daughter were killed and their three relatives riding another cycle were injured when a car hit them near Makoana Bypass in Khurrianwala police precincts on Saturday.

Allah Ditta of Mohammadwala village was going to his relatives along with his daughter Irshad, 22, on his cycle when a car hit him and his relatives Mohammad Ali, Hayat and Naveed, who were riding another cycle. Resultantly, Allah Ditta and his daughter died at the scene, while Ali, Hayat and Naveed were injured.

Rescue 1122 took the injured to a hospital, where they were said to be in a stable condition.

Police arrested the car driver and registered a case against him.
