MIRPURKHAS, Sept 17: Five children were seriously injured when they were bitten by rabid dogs in and around the city here on Wednesday.

Irfan, Sunny, Liaquat Ali and Khalil Ahmed were bitten by rabid dogs in Makhan Samoo village near here and four-year-old Imran was bitten in Mirpurkhas town.

The injured were admitted to the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital. Reports of dog bite are increasing alarmingly but the town municipal administration has yet to take a action against the menace.—PPI
