LAHORE, Sept 15: Punjab Labour and Human Resource Minister Ashraf Khan Sohna boycotted an iftar dinner hosted by US Principal Officer Brian D Hunt here on Monday to, what he said, express resentment against the US attacks on Pakistani territory.

Mr Sohna told reporters that he had boycotted the reception to make the US government realised that Pakistanis were a self-respecting nation and could not tolerate the violation of its sovereignty.

He said the US and Nato forces were not only challenging the sovereignty of Pakistan but were also spilling the blood of innocent women and children by resorting to terrorism under the garb of war against terrorism. — Reporter
