GUJRAT, Sept 13: Three people were killed and another three fell unconscious after eating ‘pakoras’ during Iftar at Machia village the other day.

According to police, the family of Ahmed Khan prepared pakoras for Iftari after eating which Ahmed, his wife Sardaran Bibi and son Muhammad Younis died on the spot.

Ahmed’s sister Bashiran Bibi, Farzana Bibi and a child fell unconscious.

A family member informed the police that a lizard that fell unnoticed into the pakora paste was found lying at the bottom of the pot, which might have poisoned the dish.—APP
