HYDERABAD, Sept 13: A five-member team of South Korean delegation and Higher Education Commission visited Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro here on Friday.

Members of the delegation held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor Mehran University Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Rajput, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Rafique Ahmed Abro, Dr Riaz Ahmed Sohag, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Dr Dost Ali Khowaja, Dean Faculty of Architecture, Arts and Design, Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Panhwar, Dean faculty of Technology, Dr Abdul Karim Baloch, Dean Faulty, of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering Dr Mohammed Aslam Uquaili Registrar and others.

The delegation comprised Prof: Dr Jun Boum Park, Associate Dean International Affairs, Prof: Dr. Jae Yeol Cho and Mr Wasim Hashmi Syed, Project Director Foreign Faculty Training Program , Ms Rezwana Siddiqui, Project Director of Human Resources Development (HEC) and Muhammad Suleman Co-Coordinator (HEC).

The delegation was given a detailed briefing on academic and research activities and development projects, students and other allied facilities.

The delegation discussed projects for establishing linkage between the two universities with regard to faculty development, exchange of faculty and studies and exchange of academic knowledge as well as other academic matters and concession in tuition fee for University faculty for ME PhD courses and Financial Aid by the South National University.
