Quran Complex Nears completion

LAHORE, Sept 5: The Quran Complex being built by the Punjab Auqaf Department in Upper Mall Scheme at a cost of Rs740 million is nearing completion.

This was stated by Auqaf Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal during a visit to the site to review the progress in work on the project on Friday.

The secretary was informed that the complex would have a Quran Museum, an auditorium, a conference hall and a mosque.

Besides, it would have a Seerat Academy to impart MA, M.Phil and PhD education. The Quran Board would arrange publication of error-free holy Quran and its translation in other languages.

Earlier, the Auqaf secretary visited the shrine of Hazrat Mian Mir and its mosque.
