JACOBABAD, Aug 30: A minor boy was killed in a bloody fight between Bozdar and Loond community men while another was injured in Pir Bari village near Suhanjhro in Khanpur Mahar police’s limits in district Ghotki on Saturday.

A group of armed men raided Pir Bari village and opened fire. The villagers returned fire and Arz Mohammad, 12, was killed.

A passer-by, Kamal Hassan Shah, was injured and was taken to Ghotki hospital.

PROTEST: Scores of people of Thull and rights activists and workers of different political parties staged a protest demonstration and observed token hunger strike outside the taluka nazim’s office on Saturday, against the shortage of drinking water.
