KHAR, Aug 24: A headless body of a man was found in Siddiqabad four kilometres from here.

The victim, identified as 35-year-old Fazle Raziq, was a resident of the Arang area. A note found with the body said that the man was an ‘American spy’.

DEMONSTRATION: A large number of tribesmen staged a demonstration in Khar against the killing of civilians during the military operation.

Five people of a family were killed when their house was hit by a mortar shell on Saturday.

The protesters alleged that security forces had violated the agreement and targeted civilian areas, killing innocent people. All shops and markets in the town remained closed on the occasion.

Haji Rahat Yousaf of the PML-N, Haji Said Badshah of the PML-Q and JUI-F’s Maulana Hanif Fazil were among the demonstrators. Later, they called on Political Agent Safeerullah Khan and lodged a formal protest.
