HYDERABAD, Aug 23: The Bhittai Naggar police have lodged an FIR against UC Nazim of Qasimabad Mehboob Abro following an alleged murderous attack on a PPP-SB activist, Irshad Khaskheli, near the grid station of Qasimabad on Friday.

Shops were closed down in the area after the attack. Khaskheli was taken to hospital. His brother Niaz Mohammad Khaskheli has lodged a case against UC Nazim Mehboob Abro and two of his associates, Kashan Memon and Mohammad Deen Chang.

Irshad Khaskheli himself is an accused in a case lodged with Bhittai Naggar police.
