FAISALABAD, Aug 15: The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Punjab announced the results of intermediate examination 2008 on Friday.

According to Faisalabad BISE results, Talha Niaz of Punjab College got first position with 1024 marks, Nimra Siddique of the same college stood second with 1019 marks and Mohammad Usama of Chenab College, Jhang , bagged the third position with 1015 marks.

BAHAWALPUR: Of the 29,864 candidates, 12230 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 40.95.

Girls secured top positions. Science college, Chishtian, students Asra Afzal and Tayyaba Mumtaz stood first and third with 1004 and 991 marks, respectively. The second overall position went to Government Sadiq Degree College for Girls, Bahawalpur’s Hira Jabbar who secured 995 marks. Muhammed Usama Bashir of Government Degree College, Hasilpur, shared the third position with Tayyaba Mumtaz with 991 marks.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Out of 19,568 candidates 10,301 were declared successful with pass percentage of 52.64.

Mohhammad Murtaza of Government College , DG Khan, stood first with 1025 marks, Mudasrah Rahman of Government College for Women, Kot Addu, got second position with 1022 marks while Shaanfa Kaleem of Divisional Public School, Dera Ghazi Khan, stood third with 1017 marks .

GUJRANWALA: Sadia Naeem and Faiza Ijaz of Punjab College stood first with 1002 marks. Muhammad Umer Anwaar of Gujranwala Institute of Future Technologies bagged second slot with 998 marks. Samman Abbas of Crescent Science College secured 997 marks and got third position.

MULTAN: Of 47,486 candidates 22,950 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 48.33.

Ahsan Mohyuddin of the Muslim Public Higher Secondary School, Mumtazabad, Multan, got the top position by securing 1021 marks while Ahsan Waqas of the same school got the second slot with 1009 marks. Bushra Urooj of the Punjab College for Women, Multan, stood third with 1006 marks.

SARGODHA: Female students maintained their superiority with students of PAF Public school bagging the three top positions in pre-engineering group.

Khansa Arooj Khan of Government College for Women, Bhakkar, achieved overall top position by securing 993 marks while Muhammad Abdullah Muzamil and Muhammad Bilal Khan of PAF Public School bagged second and third positions by securing 986 and 981 marks, respectively.
