LAHORE, Aug 12: The finals of the main event of the boys and girls Pakistan Independence Day table tennis tournament was won by Shoaib and Sana in their respective categories on Tuesday.

Meanwhile Zain and Shumaila won the boys and girls’ cadet titles.

Results:

Boys (under-19): Shoaib bt Farrukh 13-11, 11-8, 11-7.

Girls (under-18): Sana bt Farwa 14-12, 13-11, 4-11, 3-11, 15-13.

Cadet boys: Zain bt Ali 11-8, 11-7, 8-11, 11-7.

Cadet girls: Shumaila bt Rony Naz 11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-7.

Girls (under-16): Iram bt Nabeela 11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 11-8.
