Out of 36,171 students who appeared in the examination, 28,455 were declared successful, with the pass percentage at 78.74.
Zunaira Maryam of the Army Public School and College, Sargodah, secured first position by obtaining 1,007 marks, while Ayesha Aziz and Sidra Riaz of the Army Public School and College, 208 Humayun Road Rawalpindi, secured second and third positions by securing 1, 005 and 1, 002 marks respectively.
Zunaira Maryam also stood first among girls in the pre- engineering group, while Mohammad Ibrahim Wasiq Khan of the F.G Sir Syed College, The Mall, Rawalpindi Cantonment, secured first position among boys in the same group by getting 995 marks.
In science general group, Maria Ejaz of the Bahria College, Naval Complex E-8, Islamabad, secured first position by getting 1, 001 marks. In this group, the top three positions were secured by girls. In commerce group, Sarosh-e-Dost of the Punjab College of Commerce, Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi clinched first position with 907 marks, while Hafiz Umair Latif of the Punjab College of Information Technology, Shahra-e-Sohrwardy, Islamabad stood second by getting 877 marks and Asma Aslam of the Pakistan College, Muscat, got third position with 859 marks.In humanities group, Sara Ahmed of Pakistan International School, Saudi Arabia, got first position by obtaining 892 marks, while Hafiz Saifullah Khan, Institute of Islamic Sciences Satra Meel (F.A), Islamabad and Fabaiha Umar of the Pakistan International School, Saudi Arabia, shared second position with 887 marks. Mah Jabeen, a private student, stood third with 882 marks.
