SHEIKHUPURA, Aug 2: Cotton bales worth Rs1.5 million were reduced to ashes near Kot Abdul Malik on Saturday.

A truck carrying cotton was on its way to Lahore from Faisalabad. Driver Abbas stopped his truck near Kot Abdul Malik and some passerby threw a burning cigarette in the consignment. The cotton bales caught fire and were destroyed. —Correspondent.
