LAHORE, July 29: Next month’s four-nation Twenty20 cricket tournament involving the West Indies, Pakistan, Bangladesh and hosts Canada has been deferred till October, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday.

“We received an e-mail from the organisers on Tuesday informing us that the tournament has been postponed and now it may be held in October,” PCB Director Cricket Operations International Zakir Khan told Dawn.

“The reason behind the postponement was unavailability of the West Indies team,” he said.
