NAWABSHAH, July 20: Jobless youths who had passed government-held tests for teachers’ jobs held a demonstration and observed a token hunger strike outside the press club here on Sunday, demanding appointment letters.
They said that they rejected the criteria of 60 per cent passing marks being imposed by the Education and Literacy Department.
They called upon PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and MNA Faryal Talpur to direct the department to offer jobs to candidates who had cleared test by 40 per cent marks.—BoC
