KARACHI, July 7: A workshop for the new scheme of studies commenced on Monday at the office of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK).

Chairman of the board Brig Mohammad Shafiullah Qureshi inaugurated the six-day event.

Under the new scheme of studies, model papers will be prepared for class IX and X.

These model papers will be dispatched to all public and private sector schools by August and will be effective for class IX from 2009 and class X in 2010.—APP
