GUJRANWALA, July 6: The local tehsil office caught fire due to `short circuit’ and almost all important revenue record was reduced to ashes on Sunday.

The office was closed due to holiday when the fire broke out. People of the area gathered there and put out the blaze with the help of firefighters.

District Coordination officer Dr Pervez Ahmad Khan ordered an inquiry and inducted DDO (city) Kamran Freedi as the inquiry officer.
