QUETTA, June 29: Afghan authorities closed the border at Chaman for several hours on Sunday after an Afghan security official was injured in a grenade attack in Spin Buldak.

Sources said the checkpost near the border was damaged.

Pakistani border authorities also tightened security after the attack.
