KARACHI, June 28: Pakistan Commercial Exporters of Towels Association chairman Ali Ashraf Khan has taken serious exception to the State Bank of Pakistan’s decision of curtailing the period of research and development (R&D) subsidy on textile exports to June 25 from of official deadline of June 30, 2008.

He expressed his fears of a serious setback to the textile industry because of such decisions, says a press release.
