KHAIRPUR, Jun 23: Two cattle grazers were killed and two others injured when a van hit them on National Highway near Fatehpur More on Monday.

Four cattle grazers were on their way with their cattle on the highway in the jurisdiction of the Tando Masti police when a van loaded with vegetables hit them.

As a result Mohammad Nawaz Mangrio, 30, and Sain Bukhsh Mangrio, 15, died on the spot and Ail Khan Mangrio and Kaleemullah Mangrio received injuries.

Those injured were taken to Gambat taluka hospital where they were admitted.

COLECTIVE MARRIAGE: The District Zakat Committee has decided to hold a collective marriage ceremony of about 150 poor couples next month.

Committee secretary Farman Ali Tanwari told journalists that a meeting of the committee here on Monday had decided to present gifts of Rs5,000 to each groom and Rs10,000 and a copy of the Holy Book to each bride.
