BSA drive for legal software

ISLAMABAD, June 17: The Business Software Alliance (BSA) on Tuesday informed businesses that it has extended till June 27 the 60-day support campaign aimed at helping corporate sector acquire licences for the software they use to run their organisations.

Aly Harakeh, BSA spokesman for East Mediterranean and Pakistan, said that the help was being provided under the legal software promotion campaign being run by BSA since April 17. He cautioned that the companies that continue to infringe intellectual property rights of the software developers after June 27 may face legal action.—APP
