Judge orders FIR against four cops

LARKANA, June 14: District and Sessions Judge Qambar-Shahdadkot on Saturday ordered registration of an FIR against four policemen, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector for allegedly killing Abdul Rahim Magsi in the limits of Drigh Police station.

Abdul Nabi Magsi, grandfather of the deceased, had moved the court against police alleging that ASI Illyas Odho, Muhammed Paryal Muhammed Saifal (Head Constables) and a cop Mehboob shot dead Abdul Rahim Magsi on concocted charges about a fortnight back. The Sessions Judge ordered lodging an FIR against the police.

CABLE: Some miscreants have cut underground cable of optic fibre near Bero Chandio village rendering inoperative phone service in Qambar-Shahdadkot district, on Saturday. Big towns of the district — Qambar, Shahdadkot, Qubo Saeed Khan, Warah remained cut off from rest of the country for more than four hours till it got restored at around 8.30pm, said sources. The technical staff of the PTCL repaired and restored communication.
