Four killed in Pindi, Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, June 9: Four persons, including a servant of former federal minister, were killed in separate incidents in the twin cities on Monday, police said.

Mohammad Raziz from Lahore was killed after he was hit by a speeding vehicle at Satra Meel, Bhara Kahu.

Raziz was coming from Murree in his car when he collided with a coaster at Satra Meel. He was shifted to Federal Government Services Hospital where he died of injuries.

In another incident, a servant of former federal minister Owais Leghari drowned in Korang Nullah while fishing there. Mohammad Husssain, 20, was a resident of Dera Ismail Khan. His body was fished out and shifted to the hospital for legal process.

Meanwhile, two teenage motorcyclists were killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle on Monday.

According to the police, Faisal Shahzad, 15, and Mohammad Ali, 13, residents of People’s Colony, suffered multiple injuries when a speeding truck hit them at Dhoke Syedan. They were heading towards Misrial Road on their motorcycle.

The injured boys were taken to a nearby hospital where they died.—Staff Reporter
