KARACHI, June 6: The three-day National Inter-departmental Men’s netball championship 2008 commences at the Auto Ban Road Ground, Hyderabad, from Sunday.

The event is being organised by the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) in collaboration with the Sindh Netball Association (SNA).

The championship features five teams, namely, Police, Wapda, Army, Navy and Railways.

A five-member committee to oversee technical matters has also been formed with Abdul Razzak Arain as chairman. Other members are Tahir Ikram, Syed Tauqeer Ahmed, Aijaz Ahmed and Mudassar Arain.
