HYDERABAD: Students seek killers’ arrest

HYDERABAD, May 29: A large number of Sindh and Mehran universities students staged a protest demonstration outside the local press club here on Thursday against the murder of a Sindh University student, Abdul Nabi Brohi, who was killed in a clash on May 14.

The students, belonging to SPSF, STP and other parties, said that the murderers of Brohi were roaming freely but the Jamshoro police had failed to arrest a single accused.

They alleged that the Sindh university administration was privy to the matter but totally failed to protect the lives of peaceful hostellers.

They warned that if the murderers of Brohi were not arrested by Saturday, they will boycott the on going examinations and would launch a protest movement.

ADMISSIONS: The director of admissions, University of Sindh, announced on Thursday that last date for admissions to LLM-Part-II at the department of Law is June 16.
