KARACHI: ‘135’ helps locate PSs

KARACHI, April 30: The helpline ‘135’ set up by the city government at the old Commissioner’s Office proved very useful for voters who had no time to locate the polling stations in their locality.

Most of them were residents of posh localities of the Cantonment, Clifton and Defence areas, who called 135 to find the locations of the polling station nearest to their homes and were helped by the staff at 135, which had four lines.

The staff on duty were taken from those acquainted with the census blocks and could locate the place of the polling station immediately.
