ISLAMABAD, May 17: A Parliamentary Institute for Legislative Services is being set up at a cost of $8 million to be provided by United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The institute will provide training to members of the National Assembly, Senate and provincial assemblies and their secretarial staff and also look after their research and faculty requirements. It will be equipped with a digital library.
Land has been acquired for the institute near the Parliamentary Lodges.
