LAHORE, May 14: The Punjab government on Wednesday suspended from service a deputy secretary for not joining the Local Government Department where he was posted 10 days ago.

Information Department Deputy Secretary Muhammad Ataullah Siddiqui was transferred and posted as Local Government Department deputy secretary but, officials said, he did not follow the orders. — Staff Reporter
