Sanitary worker dies of rabies

RAWALPINDI, May 12: A sanitary worker of Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) died of rabies here on Monday.

Munawer, 45, was bitten by his own pet dog after which he was admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital about six months ago. He was administered anti-rabies vaccine at the hospital but his family members said he did not complete the course.
