LAHORE, May 9: Two motorcyclists shot and injured an army officer on resistance during a robbery bid near Centre Point in Gulberg here on Friday night.

Reports said that Colonel Riaz was busy in conversation on his cell phone after halting his car on a service lane when the robbers struck. The military police shifted him to the Combined Military Hospital.
