Life term for blast case convict

QUETTA, April 28: An anti-terrorism court here sentenced a man to life imprisonment on Monday in a case of bomb blast in which a police constable was killed and 30 people were injured.

Judge Najibullah Khan also fined Mohammad Amin Rs150,000 after finding him guilty of attacking a police team on the Sariab Road on Sept 6, 2005.

The court acquitted 17 other accused, including Abdul Wahdood Raisani, chief of the Raisani Qaumi Ittehad, for lack of evidence.
