PESHAWAR, April 21: The Federal Areas (FA) and Punjab dominated athletics meet in the second National Paralympics at the Qayum Sports Complex here on Monday.

Table-tennis and badminton competitions were also held.

In athletics’ B-2, B-3 female and male categories, the FA and Punjab were struggling hard to grab the top honours. Some of the female athletes complained about the participation of sighted players in the B-2 and B-3 categories.

They said there should be a proper check-up of the players.

The players while recording their protest to the meet’s director said that was unjustified to include sighted players with the blind ones.
