LAHORE, April 11: The Punjab government on Friday shuffled 13 superintendents of jails whereas notifications of two sacked re-employed deputy inspectors general (DIGs) were also issued.
The sacked DIGs included Lahore Prisons DIG Chaudhry Afzal Gujjar and Prisons Head-quarters DIG Abdus Sattar Ajiz.
Multan Central Jail Superintendent Malik Bashir Ahmad Khan was posted as Central Jail, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore superintendent, in place of Javaid Latif, who was posted as Mianwali Jail superintendent.
Mianwali Jail superintendent Shaukat Feroze was transferred and posted as Rawalpindi Jail Superintendent in place of Faisal Nisar, who was transferred and posted as Multan Central Jail additional inspector general (Judicial).
Adiala Jail Additional Superintendent Mohsin Rafiq was transferred and posted Multan District Jail superintendent in place of Anjum Shah, who was made an OSD.
OSD Rana Munawwar was posted Muzaffargarh District Jail superintendent in place of Kamran Anjum, who was posted Gujranwala Central Jail superintendent in place of Sikandar Hayat, who was made an OSD.
Sahiwal Central Jail Superinten-dent Qazi Aslam was transferred and made Faisalabad Central Jail superintendent in place of Gulzar Butt, who was posted Sargodha Central Jail superintendent in place of Razaullah. Razaullah was transferred and posted Faisalabad District Jail superintendent while OSD Naveed Rauf was posted as Sahiwal Central Jail superintendent.—Staff Reporter
