KARACHI, April 22: Hot and dry spell would persist in the region. However, fair weather is expected in Karachi as the maximum temperature in the city on Tuesday would be between 33 and 35 degrees centigrade. The Met office has forecast a very hot and dry weather for Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Larkana divisions.

The maximum temperature of 45.5 degrees centigrade was recorded at Nawabshah, Sindh, and the minimum temperature of 12 degrees centigrade at Kalat, Balochistan, on Monday.—PPI
