FAISALABAD, March 26: The district consumer court (DCC) has directed a car dealer to refund the ‘own money’ received from a citizen on the purchase of a vehicle.

Muhammad Munir filed an application with the DCC contending that he had purchased a car from NH Motors. However, its owner Rana Irshad charged him Rs25,000 additionally as ‘own money.’

Deciding the application, judge Muhammad Yousuf Ojla has directed the owner of the showroom to refund Rs25,000 to the complainant.—APP
